Evidence to Improve Care

Health Technology Assessment

The Ontario Health Technology Assessment Program is undergoing changes to streamline technology evaluation and improve the way we work with health system stakeholders including patients, clinicians and industry.

Ontario’s new Health Innovation Pathway is designed to accelerate the adoption of new technologies that can improve patient care. The pathway connects the dots for end-to-end innovation adoption in Ontario, creating a single window for innovators to introduce new solutions and giving health service providers the tools they need to improve care.

The Health Technology Assessment program will be included as part of the pathway going forward. Learn more about the Health Innovation Pathway or contact healthinnovationpathway@ontariohealth.ca.
