Ontario Health conducts health technology assessments that are evidence-based reviews on a variety of important health care services and medical devices. These assessments also include recommendations on what should be publicly funded.

We want to hear from you on what health care services or medical devices we should review?

Applications are welcomed from patients, caregivers, health care providers and organizations from across Ontario.

Health Technology Assessment applications will be considered at one of our biannual Ontario Health Technology Advisory Committee prioritization meetings.

To submit a topic for a health technology assessment, please follow the steps below:

Step 1:  Search our list of health technology assessments to see if the service or device you want to submit has previously been reviewed by Ontario Health. Search here

Step 2: Learn more about what health care services and medical devices are eligible for an assessment by reviewing our Process Guide. Read the guide

Step 3: Complete the online application form. Applicants will be notified once it has been determined that their application has been selected for a full review.
