Julie Maciura is a partner at Steinecke Maciura LeBlanc, a law firm specializing in professional regulation and health law. She has over 20 years of experience acting as general counsel, prosecutor and independent legal counsel to regulators in Ontario. Julie regularly conducts training on health law, administrative law and professional regulation in Canada and the U.S. She is co-author of The Annotated Statutory Powers Procedure Act, published by Canada Law Book.
Julie is a past board member of the Ontario Branch of the Kidney Foundation of Canada and is a strong advocate for organ donation. She is also a member of the Legal Advisory Committee of the Financial Services Tribunal. Julie has degrees in English literature and law.
In 2012 Julie was recognized as a specialist in health law by the Law Society of Upper Canada.
